Social networks have become great work tools for any type of professional, including artists. In other words: mainly the artists. With thousands or millions of followers, they get greater access to advertising without being on TV, necessarily.
But what about those who go against all this? Have you ever imagined yourself, living without social media? Some celebrities, Brazilians and foreigners, chose to lead a more ‘offline’ life, outside the virtual interaction environment.
Portal Uai decided to show you the artists that are ‘off’ and don’t have any social network:
Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson is one of the most acclaimed actresses today. With very prominent works in Marvel Cinematic Universe films such as live blackin addition to acting in other films such as Stories of a Marriage, Lucy and The big trickshe is not very fond of the virtual exhibition.
In an interview with Intreview, Scarlett revealed that she doesn’t have social media and doesn’t intend to: “I can’t think of anything I’d rather do less than have to continually share details of my everyday life,” said the star.
Following, we have Adam Driver, who played Scarlett in Marriage Stories and collects other good works, such as in the Star Wars saga and, more recently, in House Of Gucci, alongside Lady Gaga and other great names.
The actor is discreet about his private life and prefers to focus on his career and dedicate himself to his family. The profiles on the networks about Adam are all managed by fans and admirers of his work.
The current Batman also makes the line discreet. Even though he’s one of the most beloved names in Hollywood and has millions of fans, Robert Pattinson doesn’t even have a registered office.
Even though he is one of the most talked about names in networks around the world, very connected with the young audience, due to his work in the Twilight saga, we can say that the 35-year-old actor avoids public appearances in general.
The renowned 45-year-old Brazilian actor and director is not a big fan of smartphones and social networks. Wagner even said, in an interview with Jornal O Globo, that he does not feel able to create a communication channel to speak directly with the public.
“Some guys always show up saying it’s me. I get mad about it. But I never had it, I don’t have it and I won’t have it. I confess that, recently, I thought about having (…) I wanted to have a channel to communicate without intermediaries, but, on the other hand, I don’t have the vocation for that”, said Moura, on the occasion.
Vladimir Brichta and Adriana Esteves
The global couple has a career full of great moments and roles, many fans, but prefer to refrain from social media. Recently, Brichta, who is on the air with the soap opera Quanto Mais Vida, Melhor!, commented on the matter on a Gshow podcast.
The subject revolved around directors who choose actors according to the number of followers on social networks. Vladmir saw the situation as a great stupidity, since the number of people who follow you on the networks is not indicative of talent.
“If you want to make a soap opera with 160 chapters, you can even get that person with 100 million followers. On the first day he appears on the soap opera, he may break audience records. But he won’t keep setting records for 160 chapters. The only way for this soap opera to have a good audience is if it has a series of talents involved with it: actors, directors, set designers, costume designers”, opined the actor, at the time.
Seeking a less stressful and discreet life, he and his wife, Adriana Esteves, are not on social media. “We are naturally more discreet people. We are extremely lucky that our work reaches people. I am very happy, and I know she is too, that our work needs to arrive without us having to arrive together”, concluded the actor.
