The Secretary of Education of the Municipality of Santo André and the Instituto Esporte & Educação, chaired by the Olympic volleyball medalist Ana Moser, held, on Monday (4), the first face-to-face meeting of the training named “Project Network of Multipliers of Educational Sports Partners”. . The initiative, which took place on the premises of the Pedro Dell’Antonia Complex and Bruno José Daniel Stadium, had the participation of 190 professionals from the municipal school system.
The training, which emphasizes the practical work of the daily life of schools, involves teachers and the coordination of school physical education, pedagogical assistants from Emeiefs (Municipal Schools of Early Childhood Education and Elementary School), Nanasa team (Adapted Swimming Center of Santo André), representatives of Cesas (Educational Centers of Santo André) and the Secretary of Sport and Sports Practice.
For the director of the Department of Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education (Deif), Sílvia Baldijão, the initiative brings the concept of one of the premises of the Santo André Education Department, which is to focus on learning. “The network considering physical education fundamental for the global development of students has aimed at the qualification of Pedagogical Assistants and technical professionals in the modality”, she highlighted.
“Physical Education in Santo André is concerned with the transformation of children through bodily learning, full of senses and meanings. Bringing the Institute, with national training expertise, since they are located in different municipalities, leads to new reflections and possibilities, expanding experiences beyond Santo André”, added the coordinator of School Physical Education, Fabiana Stival Morgado Gomes.
During this Monday’s face-to-face activity, interspersing debates and reflections, some suggestions were made for games such as knocking down cone, ball in the middle, zero, ball to basket, robot game, game on the contrary, war of balls and falls don’t fall like pedagogical possibilities to be used in School Physical Education classes.
Fabio Luiz D’Angelo, pedagogical coordinator of the Instituto Esporte & Educação, highlighted the project’s proposal. “Our mission is to qualify teachers so that they can be more motivated during their classes based on what has been shared on our platform. The idea is that, increasingly in Brazil, children have a positive experience with physical education and sports, and we only achieve this with good teachers”.
